Lumberjack Oils is one of our own family business ventures. My wonderful wife and amazing holistic best friend Lindsey Ralph started to handcraft her own beard oils for me. This then turned into a great company sold online, shipping to many different states, selling in local Denver barbershops, handcrafted goods stores, and many more. We call them our stockists. I did the branding and logo work from start to finish and will continue as LJO grows. Check it out. www.lumberjackoils.com
One of our most fun designs, we heard from a friend of a friend that was looking into starting his own hot dog stand & business in the great land of Vermont. As I went into this project and looked for inspiration, I found myself going into a 40's & 50's army theme with the name Glory Dogs. Really happy for the end product and look for these guys.
A local, extremely talented photographer was looking to re-brand his photography business. He wanted his logo to represent his heart and passion for his photography. He was happy to walk away with what we finally nailed down; a real clean and professional look but still able to pull out his love for the camera and capturing people and the outdoors. Go check him out and book some family or company photos.
I am so happy to do this from the ground up with my best friend. Marion & Miranda is a handcrafted leather making company based out of Denver, Colorado. We have a lot of different layouts of his branding and looks fantastic when its applied from packaging to stamped on the leather products he made.
When asked to come along side a close friend and help bring to life his ministry and lifestyle, I could only say yes! Zane Black is an amazing speaker to all ages but truly has a gift and heart for the youth in the world searching for truth. Zane brings a genuine truth by being himself and all the wrongs and rights that come along with that, and that makes him such a true friend with huge amounts of character. Alongside that comes the backbone which is his amazing wife Rachel who is also the mother of their children LJ & Steiner. Proud to call them my close friends and honored to come alongside them and help them grow the ministry and lifestyle brand "LOVIN LIFE" so they can support what they do.
I love what we went with here for design and look. Really went with two separate entities that are under the same umbrella, ministry & lifestyle. Excited to stay on this one and keep growing.
The Busher League is an idea I have for my next project that I would love to release in the future. With the identity and full inspiration from the 1900's baseball era, this would be a hat & limited clothing company. The Busher's were the amateurs of the day that were given the chance to see if they had what it took to be a baseball player in the pros. I am so inspired by this group of individuals called the "Bushers". They were tough, hard working blue color men that loved and cherished the game of baseball. They were the outsiders, the underdogs, the day-in day-out men living the life they had, but pursued the dream they wanted. In a small way we are all a bunch of Bushers striving to achieve our dreams.
Media Solutions is a video productions company, specializing in video mapping and videography. As well as those outrageous & creative projects you find on Youtube floating around. We needed a logo that represents what he does & designs up from the depths of his creative mind. I am super happy with the clean but warm look of the logo for MS. I wanted to pull in some feel of mine to this simple look, and feel we really nailed something that will help his company and will be a lasting imprint in minds for other people to recognize.
This project is still a work in progress, but I was honored to design a logo for my good friend Eric. Eric Willet is still in limbo on finishing up his legacy name branding, he has and will continue to do great things for snowboarding. Plan of attack: Trying to keep a clean professional look while having a bit of a cool factor that could go a lot of different directions, yet something that looks dignified and could go on for generations.
How awesome and fun it was designing and branding the new micro-brewery out of Monroe, Washington. Amsberry Brewing Company is still in the start up phase, as we've been back and forth trying to find the look and identity for the families name and company. I am honored to still be along side them delivering the needs of the branding for them as we move forward. We wanted some old vintage feel to the design and after processing many looks ABCO. came to loving these layouts for the new family company. Keep an eye out for these guys, we are excited to see what they are going to bring to the table in the beer world.
A man dedicated to his training and handwork in taekwondo contacted me when he decided to branch out on his own. He needed a clean professional look for his new business. Excel Taekwondo was something he chose for the name, as we talked about teaching kids all the way up to adults, he desires for them to aim for excellence. I believe we hit that in the design, logo, and atmosphere inside the studio.
It was a privilege to be asked to help brand and create the logo for the Larkspur Fire Union Local 4855. Everyone was happy with the way this turned out. Thank you for the honor of designing your logo, and thank you for the service to our community.
So happy to be asked by close old friends of mine and my family. When asked to design the logo and new look for Immaculate, I was given some direction, but with some major freedom. As we narrowed this down we got our final decision and we got Immaculate's design and logo. She wanted to bring in the word immaculate to life in the design and so I took the heart that she also pointed a direction to. I took the swiping motions of cleaning the top of a counter with a rag and made a heart with cleaning swipes.
Designed up a logo for a new client Casey Batezel that might be looking to brand his name as a side project for Batezel Productions. Something clean and simple but I like how it turned out. I'm sure we may be extending the possibilities as he figures out the future for Batezel.
I was asked to re-brand the Crossfit Castle Rock logo and start working on the re-branding steps towards a cohesive look throughout the gym and facility. As I delved into this project I was inspired by the old classic downtown tough guy boxing gyms. I was really thinking about Philly and Rocky Balboa and wanted to go that block style tough feel. We have a long ways to go but I think the new Logo is very iconic and clean, and has a memorable look to it. Thanks to Fran, B and the whole crew.
Got the chance to brand the new Hops & Vines located in Larkspur, Colorado. A small town but with great potential to really grow into a fun town. We've had the chance over the years to make new friends with the owners, they decided to brand and launch a new look for the local liquor store. I wanted to come to the table with a little bit of a modern but saloon style. Keeping the character of what the town is founded on and also trying to keep it pleasing to the eye with some clean branding. Jim & Carol have been great for this town and with the new name and direction for the shop I believe it is what the town will need to move forward for a healthy and organic growth.
This project was hit at me from a friend of a friend, which later has turned into a long term friendship and business design relationship. I guess we are going steady some would say ;-). Based out of Denver, Co. this company wanted something to do with traffic cones, mountains and something that works with Upstream, which is a technical term in the traffic world. I later came up with lots of concepts and as we narrowed the designs down we came to love this logo and look for the company. He will continue to grow and I hope to continue to bring more concepts of branding designs for his needs down the road. Thanks Ryon!
